Each year, thousands of parents, teachers, children, advocates and community leaders come together at our State Capitol to celebrate early childhood initiatives and take a stand for Michigan’s youngest learners! STAR POWER is a family friendly day full of fun including: a parade, activities, lunch, and the opportunity to talk with decision makers who directly impact initiatives for Michigan infants and young children.
Lawmakers are still talking about the thousands of men, women, and children who came to speak to them about the importance of investing in early childhood and we are counting down the days until we all come together again for Star Power 2012 on Wednesday, May 16. Calhoun County Great Start Collaborative and Parent Coalition will have a Charter Bus available for those who wish to join us!
