Definition:
Ready health services exist when children and families have access to quality health services that begins before a child is born and continues through adulthood.
Communities with access to health coverage, prenatal care, preventative, mental health and supports for at-risk children and those with developmental delays are more likely to have children entering school and ready to learn.
